Course Overview: 

Welcome to DiscoverKids @ Siglap! It is an exhilarating adventure where children embark on a journey of exploration and learning across a multitude of domains. This summer camp includes a dynamic array of activities ranging from STEAM games, Sports, Gymnastics, Martial Arts, Performing Arts, Science Experiments, Interactive games and much more! By offering such a broad spectrum of activities, DiscoverKids Camp allows children to explore their interests, learn new skills, and create lasting memories.

Course Content: 

Gymnastics: Our gymnastics sessions provide an excellent platform for children to develop their flexibility, strength, and coordination.

Sports: Children engage in various sports activities that not only enhance physical fitness but also promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and strategic thinking. Sports activities can range from outdoor soccer, water play, ball games and more!

Science: From hands-on experiments to fascinating discussions, children are encouraged to think, question, and explore the scientific world around them.

Martial Arts: Martial arts sessions are designed to instil discipline, improve focus, and boost self-confidence. Children will learn the basic techniques and principles of martial arts in a safe and supportive environment.

Performing Arts: Children are encouraged to express themselves creatively through our performing arts activities. Whether it's drama, dance, or music, these sessions will inspire confidence, enhance creativity, and offer plenty of fun.

In-House Games: Our camp wouldn't be complete without a variety of fun-filled in-house games. These games are designed to be engaging, promote strategic thinking, and encourage teamwork in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.

*Types of activities are subject to change depending on the teacher's availability and the number of sign-ups. Do contact us if you would like to understand the programme content for the week.

*If there are more students (8 to 12 children), the coach will split them into smaller groups by age.

Learning Outcomes: 

• Develop Interdisciplinary Skills through STEAM: Through our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) activities, children will develop critical thinking, problem-solving, creativity, and collaborative skills. They will learn to apply scientific concepts, use technology, engineer solutions, and incorporate arts into their projects.
• Promote Physical Fitness and Coordination: Through martial arts, sports and gymnastics, children will improve their physical fitness, agility, and coordination. They will also learn the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and perseverance.

Required Materials: 

Water bottle, change of clothes, and packed lunch

• Morning snacks are included
• Lunch is not provided, please bring your own packed lunch
• Children must bring a change of clothes
